Steiner's birding binoculars, the Merlin and Peregrine series have optics that transmit the most natural colors and the best low light performance in the optics industry. We mean "natural" colors so you will be able to make discoveries of new species faster and easier. Of course, optimum brightness is absolutely necessary when you glass in the shade, under branches or in the shadows of twilight.

Steiner-Germany specializes in making lenses for specific applications: For example lenses for hunters that transmit the color of game animals and hold the color of green foliage back. Lenses for birders that transmit the most natural colors and reveal the slightest color differences across the whole range of bird colors.
